The vision for the Phnom Penh Affordable Housing Design Challenge 2018 is to provide a multi-generational typology of flexible, high quality, low-cost housing for new workers in the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.

The new housing is set in a compact street grid that provides amenity and responds to specific environmental and social conditions on the site.

This will be an evolving community and provide a benchmark for future social housing in the region.
