e8urban prepared a concept master plan for a significant urban renewal site within the Cumberland Hospital Precinct in Westmead.

The Site is located north of Parramatta CBD in an area undergoing a fast paced urban renewal process.
The Site has a long and significant history, with archaeological, landscape and built heritage elements located within it, including the former Parramatta Gaol.

A number of state significant projects are currently underway that will impact the future development on the Site including, planning of the Westmead Innovation Precinct, Parramatta Light Rail (Stage 1), Sydney Metro West and the ongoing market lead redevelopment of Parramatta CBD.

Our tasks included development and testing of public domain and built form options for a variety of land use scenarios.
