e8urban are engaged to lead the master planning for a Development Application for Gurner Avenue Austral, a 58 hectare land parcel located adjacent to Western Sydney Parklands.

Innovation in a Greenfield Context
Working closely with our client and team we have used the project as an opportunity to address issues of retention of stormwater, urban heat mitigation and the creation of safe pedestrian focused streets. Key to this approach has been the design of SharedZone streets where pedestrians and vehicles mix at very low speeds - 10 km/h.

The Master Plan DA was approved in 2023.
