Corrimal Cokeworks Master Plan

Working with DKO Architects e8urban were commissioned to prepare an medium density master plan and DCP for the redevelopment of the Corrimal Coke Works Site to provide a new residential community with associated small scale retail services and public domain.

Consisting of approximately 18 hectares this former industrial site is located 5.5kms north of the Wollongong CBD and 63.5km south of the Sydney CBD.

The approach addresses significant environmental constraints, complex ecology and stormwater challenges to create a new community with a mix of medium density accommodation, large areas of public open space and great transport accessibility.

Extensive consultations with the local community were undertaken, and the proposal is currently subject to a detailed rezoning application with Council.
